By default, a security setting restricts local accounts that are notpassword protected to be able to log on only at the physical computerconsole. The Intella Connect Windows Service will be aborted silentlyduring automatic startup and if attempted to start it manually, it willshow following error: Error 1069: The service did not start due to alogon failure.


Introduced in Intella Connect 2.5, this feature allows organizations to define a set of rules that will be enforced when users set their password.Strong passwords help prevent compromise of user accounts by unauthorized users or malicious automated software to guess weak passwords.Changing passwords regularly also helps with security of user accounts.

If the account has automatically been locked temporarily for security reasons, usually because the user has entered the password incorrectly too often, this checkbox can be used to unlock the account again manually before the lockout is lifted automatically when the lockout duration has passed. This temporary account lockout can happen if a corresponding domain wide policy setting has been defined by an administrator.
